The former governor of Lagos state Akinwunmi Ambode is scheduled to appear before the Lagos State House of Assembly tomorrow – Wednesday, October 20, 2019 – by 1 pm.

Societynow.ng learned that after multiple snubs, Ambode has confirmed he would honor the invitation to defend allegations about some of the things that transpired during his one term reign – of four years – as governor of Lagos state.

Insiders, however, revealed that despite issuing the invitation – Speaker Obasa is currently on edge barely twenty-four hours to the much-anticipated meeting.

Societynow.ng gathered Obasa’s concern has roots in what is unraveling within the Lagos State House of Assembly and alleged plot by Ambode to turn the table on Obasa – and his backers- at tomorrow’s meeting.

The former governor credited with the statement ‘’ “I have everything they require, nothing to hide. Come Wednesday, I will be there at the house of assembly complex with all facts and figures from May 29,2019. I think I should make it clear, I was the accountant General then before becoming Governor ” is said to be coming hard against the Lagos Assembly with ‘’ mind-blowing ‘’ allegations of his own.

Ambode is said to be primarily targeting Speaker Obasa and his benefactor Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Societynow.ng learned that the plot by Ambode is to make out Obasa as unfit to occupy is present position as well as a major contributor to the ‘’crisis’’ that consumed his administration.

The plot is to cast Tinubu as the orchestrator of all things evil that befell the Ambode administration and the dead before it started second term ambition.

Societynow.ng learned that Ambode’s ploy is to tell his story to the world through salacious details that would be ”irresistible” for the media meant to trumpet the allegations that would be slammed on him, shame him tomorrow.

Against the background that he has his agenda – with his backers pulling the strings -, added revelation has it that Speaker Obasa is edgy on how to control the narrative tomorrow.
