Before the verdict went the way of Kashumu Buruji, Ladi Adebutu trumpeted a stand – ‘’I will abide by whatever the court says, even if it means supporting Kashamu to become governor’’.

Ladi Adebutu Reveals Why He May Step Down As PDP Guber Candidate In Ogun State.

But now that Kashamu Buruji has secured judgment as the PDP Candidate in Ogun state, Adebutu is refusing to abide by his pledge sources insist.

‘’Adebutu believes he has been played. And this sentiment is shared by quite a number of members of his inner caucus’’ societynow.ng gathered.

Information available has it that Adebutu is protesting based on the conviction that Kashamu orchestrated all the peace moves to box him (Adebutu) into a corner.

‘’And he is refusing to stay there’’ a source stated.

Though Kashamu is reputed to have a knack for picking lawyers versed in the ways of the Nigerian legal system to help him win cases, Adebutu thought he could beat him at the game – but failed woefully.

Societynow.ng learned that Adebutu’s refusal to embrace Kashamu at the annual Thanksgiving service organized by former governor Gbenga Daniel and held in Shagamu – and the attendant violence – was meant to tell his supporters, far and near there is no longer any peace accord with Kashamu.

Insiders disclosed that since he has not profited from the court judgment Adebutu has now adopted the ‘’if I don’t get it, you won’t get it approach’’.

Interestingly societynow.ng confirmed that while Kashamu and Adebutu continue to fight, their supporters are already working together to protest personal interests in the coming general election.
