Shocker As Kashamu, Adebutu’s Supporters Dump Patrons, Work Together For Personal Ambitions!

There is a realignment of political forces going on in Ogun state.

And it is happening in the camps of Gubernatorial candidates Ladi Adebutu and Kashamu Buruji.

Adebutu and Kashamu are the two candidates laying claim to the gubernatorial ticket of the political party, People’s Democratic Party in Ogun state.

Though the matter is in court, as at last count the Independent Electoral Commission recognizes Kashamu while the national leadership of the PDP insists on Adebutu as gubernatorial flag bearer.

The investigation conducted by societynow.ng revealed that while their principal slug it out in court, supporters of the two factional candidates have started working together behind the scene to protect personal interests.

Societynow.ng gathered that supporters of Adebutu and Kashamu are currently horse trading and reaching comprise here and there to support one another in the bid to win elective positions in Ogun state.

‘’They are doing this to avoid a situation where the PDP will lose out across board in the upcoming general election as a result of the bickering of their leaders’’ societynow.ng learned.

They don’t want to lose everything to blind loyalty a source stated.

The details available to societynow.ng revealed that in Sango-Ota where the party has a very strong influence, the factional leaders of PDP in the area have formalized the ‘’compromise’’ and issued a statement to the effect.

Other areas are expected to tow the same path.

Societynow.ng learned that the grand plot is to ultimately make the ‘’unified PDP’’ to have a united front in throwing weight behind whoever emerges party candidate – according to the court ruling – between Kashamu and Adebutu.

”The belief is that this will also give the party a fighting chance in the gubernatorial election than the current division that exists” an insider stated.
