Why Kinglsey Moghalu Left ADC

Popular aspirant Kingsley Moghalu has left the Africa Democratic Party (ADC).

He cited differences in values magnified by the ADC Presidential primary election which was won by Dumebi Kachikwu.

Kachukwu got 977 votes while Moghalu secured 589 votes in the election which was held on June 8.

Moghalu who ran a more pronounced campaign and enjoyed a better social media presence ahead of the election wrote to the National Chairman of the ADC, Okey Nwosu resigning from the party.

The presidential aspirant told the chairman that the ADC presidential primary election “revealed a fundamental clash of values between me and your leadership of the party.”

He told Nwosu that his resignation from the party “is immediate”.

Moghalu was the presidential candidate of the Young Progressives Party (YPP) in the 2019 election.
