Contrary to recent claims, SocietyNow.Ng gathered that Queen Silekunola Naomi is not returning to the palace of the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi.

The added information available to SocietyNow.Ng revealed that the new queen is from Kwara state.

Those who should know disclosed that details of the new Queen are being kept under wraps based on the lessons learned from the collapsed marital union between the Ooni and former Queen Silekunola.

Former Queen Silekunola announced the end of her three-year-old marriage to Ooni Ogunwusi on December 23, 2021.

She made the announcement three weeks after returning to her base in Akure, Ondo State.

The former Queen has been intermittently decorated with talks of a possible return to the palace of the Ooni since then – but insiders insist, it won’t happen.
