Why Dapo Abiodun Is Getting Praises & Sanwo-Olu Abuses

for not mounting the same political pressure

The verdict is out.

An area where the Governor of Ogun State Dapo Abiodun has gotten the better of Babajide Sanwoo-Olu, the Governor of Lagos state has been pointed out.

Abiodun is getting massive praises while abuses are heaped on Sanwo-Olu from travelers.

Attracting opposite reactions to the two governors in the border area between Ogun and Lagos states on the old expressway near the former toll gate.

SocietyNow.Ng confirmed travelers on the road are having a hellish time coming from Lagos state.

“Less than a two-minute drive to where the old toll gate was, coming from Lagos the road has become so bad that drivers are forced to go through an emergency exit created between the demarcation, face oncoming vehicles, and return to their lanes in Ogun state” SocietyNow.Ng gathered.

“The portion of the border area on both sides in Ogun state – going and coming – were as bad but have been repaired. It was done last year by the Federal Government after great lobbying by Governor Abiodun. The road repair was extended into Lagos state on the lane of vehicles from Ogun state going to Lagos but the lane of vehicles from Lagos state to Ogun state remains untouched and it is giving motorists hell. The traffic at any time of the day is very brutal and compounded with the rain that has started” a constant traveler on the road explained.

Additional information revealed that Sanwo-Olu is being abused for not mounting the same political pressure as Abiodun to get the federal government to include that particular portion of the road for immediate repairs.

SocietyNow.Ng gathered the situation on that particular portion of the old Lagos/Abeokuta expressway has become so bad that even heavy-duty vehicles find it hard to ply.
