Emerging details have it that though she announced walking out of the marriage with Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi earlier today – Thursday, December 23, 2021-Queen Naomi Silekunola left the palace three weeks ago.

And she was not sent packing by the Ooni of Ife SocietyNow.Ng learned.

Details available have it that the Queen left the palace in “solidarity” with her mother and six siblings whose time were up.

“She moved into the palace with her mother and six siblings when she got married to Ooni three years ago and her mother and siblings have been residing in the palace since then. The decision was taken that after three years of marriage it was time for them to leave but the Queen kicked against the idea.” SocietyNow.Ng learned.

The Queen’s mother is said to have a very strong influence on her daughter.

The marriage between Queen Silekunola and the Ooni of Ife was perfected in 2018. And her mother and siblings moved with her into her husband’s house since then.

Further revelations have it that “because of certain things happening” and the “oddity” of the situation, the revered King decided that the queen’s mother and her children should take up residence outside the palace.

“But the Queen refused and insisted that if her mother leaves the palace, she would also leave and she left because the Ooni was not ready to retain the odd situation of housing his wife, her mother and six siblings in the palace” SocietyNow.Ng gathered.

SocietyNow.Ng gathered that “Ife Elders” met with Queen Silekunola and the implication of her decision to leave the palace with her mother three times but she stuck to her gun.

“So they all left the palace three weeks ago, although she announced walking away from the marriage today” SocietyNow.Ng gathered.

The three-year-old marriage between the Ooni of Ife and Queen Silekunola produced a child, Prince Tadenikawo.
