On the streets of Ogun State, Governor Dapo Abiodun and his supporters are known by a particular color.
It is the self announcing Yellow.
SocietyNow.Ng gathered that this development is a result of the penchant of the Governor’s administration to romance the color in handling official projects and political engagements.
“The roofs of Government projects that have to do with buildings are all painted Yellow. And the attires mostly favored by supporters of the Governor for political outings are mostly flavored with Yellow” SocietyNow.Ng learned.
The information available has it that this has resulted in the labeling of the 61year old Governor and his supporters “Yellow Camp”.
“The favoring of the color Yellow by Governor Abiodun and his administration is the subject of all manners of interpretations and speculations” SocietyNow.Ng learned.
Added digs by SocietyNow.Ng revealed that the use of the “Yellow Camp” to refer to the successor of Senator Ibikunle Amosun and “his people” is usually in the context of the political leaning of the user.
The checks made by SocietyNow.Ng revealed Abiodun – who is said to be eyeing a second term in office – is the first Governor in Ogun State to be identified by a particular color in official and unofficial dealings.
