Dapo Abiodun’s Aide Confirms Lagos Senator’s Political Ambition In Ogun

One of the most visible aides of Governor Dapo Abiodun has publicly confirmed the ambition of Lagos Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola to actualize the same status in Ogun state in 2023.

Senator Adeola popularly known as Yayi is the Senator representing Lagos West.

Yayi who played a major role in the emergence of Abiodun as the Governor of Ogun State wants to become the Senator representing Ogun West in 2023.

“West To West” or “W2W” has become the slogan identifying the political ambition.

The ambition is not without strong opposition, especially from incumbent Tolu Odebiyi who wants to become the first Senator in Ogun West to serve to terms.

The opposition against Yayi’s ambition has become fiercer as Odebiyi teams up with former Governor Ibikunle Amosun working strongly against the Lagos senator and Governor Abiodun.

Part of the moves against Yayi – believed to have struck a political pact to eventually transform him into the successor of Abiodun as Governor of Ogun – are raging campaigns on social media.

Reacting to one of such campaigns, Emmanuel Ojo the Senior Special Adviser to Governor Abiodun on Social Media declared “All of this won’t work. Yayi is here for good. W2W”.

The comment widely seen as providing deep insight into the workings of the Governor’s camp has been attracting different kinds of reactions.
