The ambassadorial appointment of former Senator Olorunnimbe Mamora has collapsed.

This development came to be via the resubmitted list of non career ambassadorial nominees to the Senate for ratification by President Muhammadu Buhari.

The name of Mamora which was in the original list was conspicuously missing from the new one.

The development has sparked off talks the former Lagos state house of Assembly speaker remains a hunted man.

This is the second time that Mamora experienced a near appointment in the new administration of President Muhammadu Buhari.
He was pencilled down to become the Chairman of the Nigerian Ports Authority in recognition of his energetic efforts during the campaign trail.

But he lost out barely 48hrs to the announcement.

Mamora a cerebral senator and banner of his political cause ran into troubles water when he went against the interest of political godfather Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.

He was edged out of his seat as Lagos Senator and remains without recognition since then.

His current status is believed to be punishment for alleged disloyalty and an example to serve as a deterrent to others.

However since his ‘’political persecution’’ began the former senator has humbly taken all that has been thrown his way , without any word of angst against his fingered aggressor.
