Singer Naira Marley is off the hook of entanglement with the police for violating Covid-19 protocols by performing at a concert in Abuja.
The controversial singer real name Azeez Fashola was fined N200,000 on Thursday, July 6 after he pleaded guilty for performing at the concert which held on July 13 at Jabi Mall in Abuja in violation of keep-safe regulations.
Naira Marley reported himself to the police command yesterday and was fined by an Abuja Mobile Court for performing at the concert which attracted a lot of public outcry when Covid-19 was feared most, especially with the revelation the singer and his crew flew from Abuja to Lagos on false premise.
They were flown by private charter company Executive Jets on false information that the flight was for a judge on ââessential dutyââ to get clearance from Aviation authority.
