Naira Marley Detained Over Jabi Concert

Controversial singer Naira Marley has been detained.

Emerging details have it that the Singer real name Azeez Fashola was detained today at the Lagos State Police Command’s Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) when he reported himself today, Thursday, August 6, 2020.

Naira as fondly called reported at the SCID in connection with the controversial concert he performed at in Abuja.

The concert was meant to be a drive-in held at Jabi Lake Mall on Saturday, June 13 2020 during the lockdown and violated the safekeeping protocols imposed by the Federal Government in the fight against the Pandemic.

The development attracted huge public outcry especially with the revelation that Naira Marley and his crew traveled to Abuja from Lagos in charted Flight operated by Executive Jets and approved by the Minister of Aviation on a false premise.

The detention today is said to be part of an ongoing investigation into the circumstances surrounding how the infamous concert came to be.
