Want To Work At The 2027 Polls? INEC Opens Online Application Portal

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has announced the opening of its online portal for the recruitment of ad-hoc staff for the 2027 General Election.

In a public notice, the commission said the INECPRES portal would be activated from 8:00am on Friday, September 18, 2026, and remain open until 12 midnight on Wednesday, November 18, 2026.

INEC said interested applicants seeking to serve as election ad-hoc staff could submit their applications online through its official website.

The commission stated that, “The online application will be available on the INEC website” for both mobile and web applications.
It added that the web version, accessible through laptops and desktop computers, would be available via pres.inecnigeria.org.

According to the notice, applicants using Android devices could access the mobile application through the INEC website or the designated INECPRES application link.

The commission urged interested members of the public to take note of the application window and complete their applications before the November 18 deadline.
