OGITECH Mourns Loss Of Dedicated Staff Abbas Ayinde Obimakinde
rendered invaluable service to the Institute.
It is with deep sorrow that the Management of Ogun State Institute of Technology (OGITECH), Igbesa, announces the sudden passing of Mr. Abbas Ayinde Obimakinde, a highly respected and devoted Principal Assistant Registrar in the Academic Planning Unit.
Until his passing, Mr. Obimakinde rendered invaluable service to the Institute.
He was a diligent professional, serving as the Secretary to the Accreditation Committee and an active member of the OGITECH Federal Road Safety Corps (Special Marshal) unit.
His commitment, humility, and dedication to the ideals of the institution will be fondly remembered.
The Rector, Dr. Abiodun Oluseye, described his death as a painful loss not just to the institution, but to everyone who had the privilege of working with him. He extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for God’s comfort in this difficult time.
The final rites and burial will took place at his residence behind Jesus Saves Building, Oluwo, Onikolobo, Abeokuta, on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at 4:00 p.m.
We pray that Almighty Allah grants him eternal rest and gives his family, colleagues, and loved ones the strength to bear this irreparable loss.
May his soul rest in perfect peace.
