It is no longer news that Alhaja Atinuke Bankole, the beloved mother of former Speaker of the Federal House of Representatives, Dimeji Bankole, has passed away.

The deceased, described as “a loving and dedicated matriarch who devoted her life to the service of her family and community” by Senator Gbenga Daniel in his condolence message to Bankole, passed on in the early hours of Friday, January 10, 2025.
