All-Smiles Dimeji Bankole Surfaces Far Away From Ogun Guber Talks

Dimeji Bankole has resurfaced on the social scene.
He made an appearance at last week’s burial of late Mama Saratu Yakubu Tukur, the mother of the former Speaker of the Federal House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara.
Dogara was the Speaker of the Federal House of Representatives from June 9, 2015, to June 9, 2019, while Bankole served the position from November 1, 2007, to June 6, 2011.
The burial of late Mama Saratu Yakubu Tujur was held in Bauchi.
Bankole was one of the prominent faces at the funeral service conducted at the Church of Christ in Nigeria (COCIN) Gwarangah Bogoro, Bauchi State.
Bankole’s appearance at the funeral service – weeks after he was last seen in public – is far away from raging talks in Ogun state about interest in succeeding Governor Dapo Abiodun.
Though he has neither confirmed nor denied the claim, Bankole is listed as one of the aspirants in the race to become the next Governor of Ogun state.
