Kashamu Buruji Steps Aside As Segun Seriki Becomes His Candidate For Ogun Guber Election

Details filtering out of his famous Omo Ilu group – political structure- indictate founder and Senator Kashamu Buruji may have stepped away from his gubernatorial ambition.

The man fighting hard to retain his hold on the People’s Democratic Party in the state is widely credited with ambition to become the next governor of Ogun state.

But fresh information have it he may have thrown weight behind another of person – one of his die hard loyalists.

The Kashamu anointed is identified as Prince Segun Seriki.

He is from Ogun East.

Sources claim Kashamu’s backing is what emboldened Seriki to officially come to town with his ambition recently.

His declaration is said to have sparked off a chain reaction that resulted in arrest of members of his party – PDP.

The angst created with this development is labelled still raging.

Further information also have it Seriki’s candidature within the Omo Ilu’s structure owned by Kashamu is yet to become “deeply” rooted.

But he is said to be undeterred by these initially challenges as he forges ahead with making self and ambition known in bid to gain support.
