Away from the big crowd attracted to his campaign venues by Singer Davido, sources disclosed Demola Adeleke is heavily hit by the certificate scandal decorating his person.

Demola is the candidate of the People’s Democratic Party for the September 22 Osun state gubernatorial election.

He faces the damning allegation of not possessing the minimum requirement of a secondary school leaving certificate for his gubernatorial aspiration.

The West African Examination Council (WAEC) was forced to released details of his secondary school leaving results to prove he possesses the requirement.

The revelations contained in the result only added to gubernatorial candidate Adeleke’s problems.

“It would have been better for him to fight the allegations he didn’t have it” a source stated.

Adeleke failed all the subjects he sat for.

Societynow.ng learned the woeful school leaving results has snowballed opposition against the gubernatorial ambition of Adeleke.

Insiders disclosed campaign against his election as Governor is being championed by the elites in Osun state.

“There is a groundswell opposition against him. The elites are amassing grass root support against Adeleke. The claim is that he is just a stooge out for the glamour of being Governor without the mental capacity to handle the responsibilities that come with such an esteem position” societynow.ng learned.

Information available to societynow.ng revealed the campaign against Adeleke is very intense.

“The opposition against him has reached the level that parents now publicly pray may their children not end up like Demola when correcting wrongdoings” a source stated.

Societynow.ng learned Demola Adeleke’s nonappearance at the gubernatorial debate for all candidates further did him in with those against him.

Though his campaign organization claimed the gubernatorial candidate was caught up in campaign activities in rural areas, societynow.ng learned the slant that he “dodged” the debate for “obvious reasons” is the most passed around reason.

“I know people who are supposed to travel but shifting departure dates to vote him out. And I also know people coming back home to vote and campaign against Adeleke. The opposition against him because of that certificate scandal is very serious” a source insists to societynow.ng.
