How Davido Eclipsed Kwam 1 In Osun

Based on the crowd pulled on their campaign trains, Demola Adeleke appears to be cruising to victory in the Osun Gubernatorial election.

The election to determine the successor to Governor Rauf Aregbesola comes up on Saturday, September 22, 2018.

The leading candidates in the election are Demola Adeleke of the People’s Democratic Party, Gboyega Oyetola of the ruling All Progressives Congress and Iyiola Omisore of the Social Democratic Party.

Societynow.ng, however, gathered Adeleke is pulling the biggest crowd at his venues.

And this is thanks to the star power of his nephew, Davido.

The son of Demola Adeleke’s elder brother Deji Adeleke is campaigning for his uncle to be elected governor of Osun state.

“And he is doing a good job of it” a source disclosed.

“All the venues he played at for his uncle were filled to the brim” societynow.ng learned.

Revelations available to societynow.ng have it the crowd that thronged Davido’s “performance” venues eclipsed that of the king of fuji music Wasiu Ayinde Anifowoshe.

The Fuji musician widely known as Kwam 1 or K1 is the official entertainer of the All Progressives Congress.

Kwam 1 usually helps the APC attract a huge crowd to its campaign venues.

But the master musician’s star power was outshone in his recent outings in Osun state.

“Davido carried the day. Davido attracted a bigger crowd for PDP than K1 did for APC” multiple sources confirmed to societynow.ng.

Davido performed at filled to the brim venues such as Iwo, Ede, Ikirun, Ilesa…, while Kwam 1 did his own at lesser attended engagements such as Osogbo, Ile Ife among others.
