Inside Details As More Powerful Politicians Back Hammed Idowu “HID” Tijani’s Re-Election As Ojokoro Council Chairman

The ranks of those pushing for the re-election of Hammed Idowu Tijanj better known as “HID” as the Chairman of Ojokoro Local Council Development Area have increased.

Societynow.ng gathered that increased numbers of popular politicians in the council are now backing “HID” who is the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the local government election that will take place later this month according to the Lagos State Independence Electoral Commission (LASIEC).

Listed among the additions to the heavyweights pushing for “HID’ Tijani’s second term are former aspirants for the position of the council chairman, Sola Davies, Teju Oluwole, and Kola Omisore.

The trio has plugged their political structures into that of the Tijani.

This said to be proving vital as the candidate’s support base which was viewed as impressive is now seen as “intimidating”.

Societynow.ng gathered that the coming on board of Mrs Fausat Hassan Olajoku, a former Council Chairman and her supporters further entrenches convictions that “HID” Tijani who is a graduate of Business Administration, Lagos State University and is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Public Diplomacy Management is a “sure bet’ anytime the election is held.

These latest additions join the likes of a Federal House of Representatives James Owolabi and former state lawmaker Ipoola Omisore, Rasheed Makinde – an incumbent member of the Lagos State House of Assembly, former council chairman Benjamin Olabinjo, respected figure Mohammed Adelaja and Honourable A.A Akindele as well as Alhaji Hassan Ajeigbe the grassroots mobilizer better known as “Baba Amje”, Prince Bello Adewale the APC chairman in the LCDA and popular figures Alhaji Aminu Amosu and honorable Osatuyi James who form the core support group that attest to the formidable status of the candidate who is said to have an “all-inclusive administration” which a development programme spread across the seven wards in Ojokoro Local Council Development Area.
