Akinyemi Beckley, the then Chairman, Lagos State Electricity Board between 1991 and 1994.

He leveled on the experiences in these positions to win election as the General Secretary of Ward LA, Agege Local Government under the platform of the then National Republican Convention (N.R.C) between 1990 and 1994.

According to added revelation “HID” Tijani, in 1998, contested as Councilor representing Ward J of Ifako/Ijaiye Local Government under the platform of Alliance for Democracy (A.D). Between 2004 and 2007, he was appointed as Supervisor for Education at Ojokoro Local Council Development Area (LCDA) under the platform of Action Congress (A.C).
