Inside Details As Insurance Boss Owolabi Salami Sells Off Night Club In South Africa

A quiet operator on Lagos social scene Owolabi Salami has sold off his South Africa nightclub investment, societynow.ng learned.

Though details of the transaction remain sketchy, findings revealed the Ibadan, Oyo State-born insurance boss disposed of the fun spot as far back as October 2017.

The nightclub is tucked inside glamours Michelangelo Hotel Johannesburg, South Africa, an earlier report by societynow.ng indicated.

The just sold off fun spot was operated under the name Soul Lounge.

It was a replica of sort of his inside the Palms Shopping Mall’s Soul Lounge, a source who used to visit the rave fun spot revealed.

But a more glamorous version of the Lagos branch, a source maintained.

Salami put it in place sometimes in 2010, societynow.ng’s checks showed.

The now rested lounge is actually sighted on the first floor of the 7 storey hospitality haven.

Mr. Salami is the Managing Director of Ensure Insurance plc.

Ensure Insurance plc was formerly known as Union Assurance.

Those who are close to former GT Assurance – now Mansard Assurance – top shot maintained he took the decision to sell off the business so he would get more time to focus on the challenges that come with his position as MD at Ensure insurance.

“The business was not doing badly but he has to let go for him to give his job at Ensure insurance the needed attention”, an associate of the insurance sector top player disclosed.
