Insiders disclose that former speaker Dimeji Bankole is speedily putting in place a strategy to reap bountifully from the problems of Governor Amosun and Ladi Adebutu in Ogun state.

Bankole is the gubernatorial candidate of the Action Democratic Party in Ogun state.

Bankole faces major challenges from Amosun and Adebutu in achieving the ambition of becoming the next governor of Ogun state.

But either by commission or omission, both Amosun and Adebutu are currently engulfed in troubles that have shifted the goal post against them.

And Bankole looks about to profit immensely from this development if he plays his cards correctly.

Societynow.ng confirmed that Amosun has been outplayed in the move to make his preferred choice Adekunle Akinlade as the gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress.

To Amosun’s horror his estranged friend Dapo Abiodun emerged APC candidate in the manner that demystified the political wizardry of the Governor.

Amosun is currently battling to upstage Abiodun and give the gubernatorial ticket to Akinlade in a manner that is greatly weakening the political might of the APC in Ogun state.

Adebutu got more than he can chew when recent court action spectacularly backfired the machination of the suspension of Senator Kashamu Buruji on his gubernatorial ambition.

The court ruled that the suspended Kashamu retains control of the legally recognized People’s Democratic Party structure in Ogun state.

“The implication is that Adebutu is the candidate of the unrecognized faction of the PDP in Ogun state and consequence is obvious” a source pointed out to societynow.ng.

Insiders disclosed that Bankole’s move is also meant to divert whatever gains that would come the way of Gboyega Isiaka, the gubernatorial candidate of the African Democratic Congress in the troubles afflicting Amosun and Adebutu.
