Details: Why Insiders Insist The Storm Against Aremo Adesegun Oniru & His Brothers In Battle To Protect Prized Assets Is Far From Over

Sources disclosed that the storm against the children of Oba Abiodun Idowu, the immediate past traditional ruler of Iruland, Lagos state is far from over.

This is in the face of seeming calm pervading the Kingdom.

New King Gbolahan Lawal insists that there is no going back on the validation of properties in Iruland.

Behind this objective is a bigger aim, to expose all the Kingdom’s assets believed to be in the name of the immediate past king, his children led by Aremo Adesgun Oniru and their agents.

Societynow.ng gathered that the new King has marked all suspected properties and wants a revalidation of titles to reveal cleverly hidden ones.

‘’The implication of this is wide and far-reaching because the seed of the wealth of Onirus lays in real estate…and already major properties owned by Aremo Oniru and his brothers Tijani, Demola, and Olumide are some of those marked’’ societynow.ng learned.

Societynow.ng gathered that the new King has already set up an office for validation of property titles in Iruland insisting that ‘’those who properly and legitimately acquired their titles have nothing to fear.’’

The new king secured the support of members of the other royal families with claims that revenues from recovered properties will be shared with all stakeholders.

He silenced street supports for the Oniru with the deployment of street muscles headed by Sulaimon Ojora, the Deputy Chairman of the Lagos State chapter of the National Union of Road Transport Union (NURTW) better known as Kudety.

‘’But the strongest support of all for Oba Gbolahan Lawal that signal no escape from the storm for the Onirus came from Asiwaju (Bola Ahmed) Tinubu and his declaration during the coronation last Sunday” Societynow.ng learned.

At the coronation of the new Oniru of Iruland on Sunday, September 6, 2020, Asiwaju Tinubu who is the power behind his emergence in his speech warned that ‘’all trouble makers better corporate with the new Oniru because nobody can fight the government.’’

The political leader also declared that the state government, backed by the constitution, can take over any property and nothing would happen in a direct reference to the fact the King enjoys the backing of the new State Government with his actions.

‘’The implication of this is very clear…beneath the seeming calm in Oniru lays a storm that is building and would not go away without taking away some of the prized possessions of the children of the former Oniru and their agents as part of the recovery of Kingdom’s assets.’’
