Sources confirmed- moves by the speaker of Delta State House of Assemble, Victor Ochei to succeed Governor Emanuel Uduaghan have hit troubled waters.

The state law maker and gubernatorial hopeful stand accused of a N27b road contract scam.

And his accuser is a respected figure in the politics of that side of the world, voracious presidential backer and elder state man, Chief Edwin Clark.

According to information made available by the former minister for information ‘This is a young man, a contractor who got a mega contract of twenty seven billion naira for an Independent Power Project, IPP, at Oghara or Oghareki.
