Q: It’s all over town that your are indisposed, what exactly is happening?

A: It depends on what you mean by indisposed. What do you mean? I don’t understand.

Q: That you are battling an on and off
ailment.

A: I’m very well and okay. I know I’m diabetic… I try to control it and that is all. I’m okay, people will always talk, that’s Nigerians for you. I’ve been working single-handedly doing my job. People just find rumour to talk about. It’s not a new thing to me, people will always talk. Things like that don’t move me.

The most important thing is that you are here and I have showed myself to you.

I’m okay, my drugs are here I will show.
I use one of the best hospital in this part of the world. I do all the necessary things that I’m supposed to do.

I’ve cut down my intake. Before, after the night club I eat a lot of food. But now I don’t eat at night. Most people see me these days and say see ‘General’ that was big before. So I watch what eat now.

Q: So all is well with the ‘General’

A: You are looking at me and you are seeing me very well. I’m walking, I’m drinking, I’m eating. Is anything happening? I’m healthy and kicking. I was in the club yesterday, I’m working tonight again. There is no problem.

Q: since the inception of your new club, Movida- it has been accolades all the way, as regards the operations. How does it feel to be running one of the best hangouts around?

A: I just thank God that I am eating. There are always challenges. I’m having a lot of challenges now and it’s very big on my head. It’s every time… I don’t know if it’s spirit or juju or that some one is trying to attack me, only God knows. We thank God that one is still alive. Nobody can say it’s okay. If I’m okay I should have a private jet with Movida number plate.

Q: But the brand of automobile you litter your home with is an indication that you are having a good life.

A: It’s not what you think… The kind of business that we do requires all these kind of things. It’s not that I’m that rich, it’s just that in entertainment you need to live a dream home. It’s a game of mirage. It’s a game you encapsulates the dream of others.

Q: After all you’ve gone through in relationships and marriage-you have eventually become father. How does it feel?

A: Yeah I’m a proud father. I’m very happy. I feel great. It’s a good thing to happen to one in life. It has made me to slow down on a lot of things. Every time I think about my baby I am exceedingly happy and cut down on my excesses..

Q: But who is that woman that brought this thing of joy into your world?

A: she is a wonderful woman. She’s been supportive, prayerful, and I’m proud of her. She’s just there because she’s a secretive kind of person. She doesn’t like being exposed to the lime light because she knows she’s dating a public person. She does not just want it.

Q: Do you see yourself achieving all goals you set while putting Movida in place?

A: We thank God for everything. Fine it’s not easy but we are still in the business. God is so kind to us.

Q: You just mentioned God, how close are you to your maker?

A: fine, I might not be the type that go to the church regularly but I know I believe in God. I sleep with the bible… In whatever you do you should put God first. I am fetish. I don’t believe in Juju or what have you, I put my trust in God. I don’t do fraud.

Being close to God is not by going to church or something, it’s a thing of the heart. I always ask for wisdom from God, not money. With wisdom you can conquer all.

Look at my room now you can only see inspirational materials. I don’t listen to useless songs. I don’t watch TV. I only look at my camera, work and sleep. That’s all.

Q: What are your plans for this glorious year?

A: First of all we should pray for a healthy life and a strong mind set. The economy is something else with all the thing surrounding the country now.

But the main thing is, i will love to keep my plans to my chest for now- I believe empty vessels make noise. Whatever my plan is- I try to keep it to myself.

Q: There are talks in town that you are planning to replicate Movida in Ghana, how true is this?

A: Yes it is true. It is in process already, we are working on it. It’s really affecting me financially, especially this time that banks are not ready give people money. It’s not easy but work is going on. By the grace of God we will launch it very soon.

Q: What date are you looking at for the opening?

A: I really don’t know.

Q: But what actually informs the idea?

A: You see in night club business you need to spread. Life is about challenges. I went to Ghana and I saw that I can do something there and today glory be to God.

Q: Are you actually considering spreading beyond Ghana?

A: No o I’m not thinking in that direction. If you are not there the business will not run the way you want.

Q: You’ve been around for a while now and you’ve not stop breaking new grounds. What keeps you going?

A: The first is motivation… Another thing that has helped me in life is the fact that my mother died for me to live. When I was sick there was nobody there than mum. Also the fact that I’m doing what I know how to do best is really working for me. And if you are hard working you definitely get the right result.

There is one thing that really amazes me, people will see you driving about and will be doing somehow. Whatever I’m driving today I deserve times twenty of it.

I’ve been in the business for 15 years. I started making money when I was young.

That’s while mind the cost when it comes to enjoying myself…. If die I want to die a happy man.

Q: What size of family are you looking at? How many kids do you pray for?

A: Two or three children.
