…As Ahize debunks marriage break up tales
The part two of the court drama that earned Victoria Island figure, Ladi Akindele a remand in prison custody and release just before the new year is up for this week.
The case that has root in the ownership crisis rocking Chrome night club comes up on Wednesday January 25 2012.
The venue is Igbosere Magistrate Court.
The case was instituted by the Nigeria Police against Ladi Akindele on issues bothering on fraudulent conduct and resisting arrest.
The development is the fallout out of internal wrangling between Charles Ahize and Ladi Akindele over ownership of popular fun spot, Chrome.
Ahize had inferred Ladi just a manager- with agreement to pay him certain amount every month for overseeing operations at the place.
Information available revealed Ladi’s inability to stick to agreement, compounded by issuing a N15m dud cheque started off the off the crisis.
Ahize had retaliated by kicking him out- a development Ladi countered by forcibly taking over the Adetokunbo Ademola sited business place.
The police were invited at this point.
Their involvement later earned Akindele the arrest resistance- and this coupled with dud cheque matter, got him ‘a brief’ stay in Prison on court orders.
According to a source ‘he was supposed to stay till next adjourned date – but one way or the other he got out before the new year, after spending christmas in prison’
Sources maintained immediately he attempted to reopen the night club- but the police re shut it.
And immediately hit town with a propaganda that he was never in prison or court!
He claimed Ahize behind ‘the rumour’
It is not clear how he intends to avoid lending credence to the ‘rumour’ on January 25 in court.
Meanwhile another gist is also in town pertaining to Ladi estranged partner Charles Ahize, the leader of pan cultural organisation Obigbo.
His marriage to his new love, Maureen is said to be in troubled.
The less than a year new wife is alleged to have abandoned home!
Mr Ahize debunked the story as distractions and rumour.
He inferred it as originating from the camp of Ladi Akindele to cover up his ( Ladi’s) travails.
A privy source corroborated Ahize maintaining ‘Charly just gave his phone to the supposed runaway wife to talk to me, when I called him a couple of minutes ago!’
