Aremo Segun Osoba Sparks Off Speculations Of Dumping SDP For A Return To APC!
Former governor of Ogun state, Aremo Olusegun Osoba is back on the lips of many.
And he is riding on the waves of speculations surrounding whether he has quietly returned to the All Progressives Congress or not.
The former governor of Ogun state had dumped the APC for the Social Democratic Party towards the general election.
The reason adduced was protracted battle over control of the party with governor Ibikunle Amosun.

The former governor had moved with his followers, including elected officials denied re election ticket into SDP to great expectations.
But the dream of grand electoral victory turned a mirage..all his elected officials failed to defend their seats, including his son Olumide.
And the SDP failed to win a single slot.
Except for one off comments, except when the issue of Afenifere forced a full public reaction out of him, the big name in Ogun politics kept things cool.
Then over the weekend he granted an interview to national publication Vanguard.
Commenting on recent appointments by President Muhammadu Buhari , the national leader of the All Progressives Congress, Aremo Osoba the chieftain of SDP stated in part
“as one of the leaders of Yoruba race, and as an elder statesman of Yoruba extraction, I will say that President Buhari has thrown a big challenge, a gargantuan one, to the Yoruba nation by the appointment of ministers. I do not want to be sectional. I WILL ONlY ANALYZE THOSE WHO ARE PARTY MEMBERS.
“The success of Fashola will be a measure for the future of South-West and Yoruba in the politics of this nation. I BELIEVE THAT WE MUST ALL RALLY ROUND PARTY MEMBERS WHO ARE NOW IN THE CABINET, especially from the South-West of the country. This is because it is a big challenge that Buhari has thrown to us and the onus lies in us to perform…”
Findings by societynowng.com revealed that efforts to give meanings to the capitalised portion has sparked off raging speculations about the status of the Aremo Osoba as a SDP or APC member.
This is against background of earlier reports that many of his supporters have quietly made a return to the APC in the face of the SDP’s landslide electoral loss.
