Apprehension As Communal Clash In Senator Odebiyi’s Domain Enters Day 3

There is an ongoing clash in Yewa North, a part of the domain of Senator Tolu Odebiyi.

Societynow.ng gathered that the clash which started on Monday night has roots in a land tussle.

“It is a fight of ownership of land between two communities Imasai and Ibori” information at hand revealed.

Both communities are claiming ownership of the land and this has resulted in fights resulting in the use of weapons and charms societynow.ng gathered.

“The fight started during an ancestral festival by the people of Iboro that signifies that they own the land but the Imasai people challenged them and it spiraled into a clash” added digs revealed.

Schools in that part of Ogun state were hurriedly shut on Tuesday and have recorded reduced attendance since over fears the clash might get out of control.

Teachers and students and other stakeholders in that of the town said to live in fear as law enforcement officers and intervention from the state government remain missing societynow.ng learned.
