Amosun To Be In Ogun For President Buhari’s Visit

Emerging details have it that Senator Ibikunle Amosun will be in Ogun state for the scheduled visit by President Muhammadu Buhari.

The President will be in Ogun State on Thursday, January 13 to commission some of the projects completed by the administration of Governor Dapo Abiodun.

The President plans to return to Abuja the same day.

SocietyNow.Ng gathered that Amosun plans to honor President Buhari with his presence in the state during the visit.

Amosun and Dapo Abiodun – his successor as the Governor of Ogun state- are enmeshed in a tug of war over who controls the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun State.

The former Governor who has cornered virtually all federal appointments to the state for his loyalists is said to hold the majority of the aces at press time.

Governor Abiodun aside from contending with the political onslaught of Amosun is also battling to keep the coalition of political forces that brought him to power together in the face of claims of marginalization.
