Amosun Missing From Public Lineup Of Ogun Govs By Abiodun’s Govt

The picture of the immediate past Governor of Ogun State, Ibikunle Amosun is missing from a public parade of Ogun governors put up by the government of Dapo Abiodun.

Abiodun is the incumbent governor of Ogun State.

His administration just painted pictures of past and present Ogun leaders including indigenes doing well in other states in public space.

The pictures were painted on the beams of the bridge constructed by Amosun government at “Kuto round-about” in the state capital Abeokuta as part of a beautification exercise.

But the picture of Amosun who is the immediate past Governor of Ogun State – 2011 to 2019 – is missing in the lineup that has Pastor Tunde Bakare.

SocietyNow.Ng confirms consecutive beams that have former Governors in order of how they ruled parade…Olusegun Osoba, Gbenga Daniel, and incumbent Dapo Abiodun.

The order of arrangement based on how they served should have Amosun between Daniel and Abiodun.

But the “painted image” of Amosun who moved to the Senate after his second tenure in 2019 is missing.

Amosun and Abiodun are locked in a fierce battle over control of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun State.

SocietyNow.Ng’s checks, however, strongly indicate omitting Amosun’s picture from the parade of Ogun leaders as a case of aides fueling the discord between the two faces of APC.

“The word around is that those who handled the project did what they felt the Governor would like” SocietyNow.Ng learned.

Insiders insist the Governor does not ‘have a hand in it”.

Further digs, however, revealed that “correction” has not been made days after the project was “finished”
