Galadima Modu Sheriff, the father of popular politician Ali Modu Sheriff is dead.
The father of the former Governor of Borno state died in a fire incident at his Maiduguri residence.
The deceased was the Galadima of Borno Emirate at the time of his death.
The cause of the fire is yet to be established at press time according to a Facebook post credited to Isa Gusau, the Special Adviser on Media to The Governor of Borno State.
