Emerging Details have it that Akeem Ajasa, the prince who narrowly lost out in becoming the king of Iruland has pledged alliance to new King Gbolahan Lawal.
Ajasa made the move on Friday, July 10, 2020.
The prince who almost became king pledged allegiance to the man who beat him to the throne with all his supporters in tow.
Societynow.ng learned that Ajasa also used the opportunity to express support for the decision by the King to recover all the assets of the kingdom allegedly cornered by his predecessor Oba Abiodun Oniru and his children led by Aremo Adesegun Oniru, the former multiple-term Commissioner in Lagos State.
Aremo and his siblings are accused of converting the assets of Iruland to personal properties during the back to back reigns of their grandfather and father as kings.
Aremo Oniru and Ajasa were front runners for the throne before Lawal torpedoed the process and emerged the new King of Oniru.
Lawal’s emergence was after Oniru had ”stepped down” for Ajasa to take the throne.
