Against All Odds, Fugitive Kashamu Buruji Sworn In As Nigerian Senator

Against all odds, Kashamu Buruji – the business man turned politician declared wanted by a United States Court has been sworn in as a Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Kashamu Buruji is wanted in America for drug indictment.

The development comes on the heels of spirited but failed attempt by anti drug agency, National Drugs Law Enforcement Agency to arrest him for extradition to the U.S to face charges against him.

Kashamu had out manoeuvre the move by locking himself in his bedroom for six days – while his lawyers leveraged on loopholes in

the paper work of the NDLEA to secure him legal reprieve.

The move had translated into a big success for him, with court calling the anti dug agency off him – and a situation that has gifted the embattled politician chance to be sworn in as a Nigerian Senator today – June 9 2015.

It is also to his advantage that he is part of the necessary numbers required by the opposition People’s Democratic Party to take over the workings of the Senate from the majority All Progressives Congress.
