Multiple sources insist that Billionaire Kessington Adebutu the wealthy owner of popular lottery game known on the streets as Baba Ijebu has no hand in the leaked conversation he had with late Kashamu Buruji.

Insiders also assert that although Tope, the wife of the 85years old lottery king recorded the private conversation, she also has nothing to do with how the recording found its way into the public space.

The information at hand revealed the blame for the leaked conversation has been put on the sympathizers of the gubernatorial ambition of Ladi Adebutu.

Ladi is the son of 58years old son of Kessington Adebutu with a strong aspiration to become the Governor of Ogun State.

Information at hand revealed that the decision to leak the now infamous conversation was actually for a good cause but backfired spectacularly.

‘’The move was meant to help Ladi retain his slipping hold on the PDP (political party, People’s Democratic Party) in Ogun State by posturing that Kashamu has made peace with his father (Ladi’s) in the face of multiple claims that have virtually handed the party over to former Governor Gbenga Daniel’’ societynow.ng learned.

Insiders disclosed that the idea was to show Kashamu reached out to Kessington Adebutu for forgiveness and made peace. Ladi would leverage on this in the bid to forge a working relationship with the intimidating political structure of the deceased – with the strong possibility of a takeover with big spendings – to strengthen his gubernatorial ambition.

But the move has backfired spectacularly based on the widespread interpretations of the comments made by Ladi’s father in the recorded conversation and attempts to wriggle a business agreement out of a man calling from his sickbed.

Kashamu who was faced with the reality of his inevitable death while undergoing treatment – afflicted with complications from Covid-19 as a result of serious underlying health issues – reportedly reached out to those he was not on good terms with, including Billionaire Kessington Adebutu.
