After Failed Social Media Antics, “Poverty Die” Gives Singer Olamide Hope

There is still hope for Singer Olamide to retain his popularity in his sphere of influence.

The singer popularly dubbed street king resorted to counter reacting social media antics when his numbers fail to stack up against musical rivals Davido and Whizkid towards the end of the year 2018.

His attempts to court controversy with money ritual themed song Logo Benz and cigarette puffing pictures to celebrate the New Year fell flat on its face.

The reaction failed to measure up to the response same antics attracted when he launched popular song that played on drug abuse – Science Students.

But there appears now to a glimmer of hope for Olamide that there a revamp of his slipping popularity appears to be on the horizon.

One of his new songs “Poverty Die” is catching on like a wildfire on the streets.

The song which is themed on the winning formulae of bye- bye to poverty is rapidly becoming a street anthem societynow.ng confirmed.

“And with this development comes the halt of Olamide’s waning popularity on the street” a source pointed out.

The release of a rash of songs devoid of his traditional signature of street connecting messages and jargons had threatened Olamide’s status as King of his sphere.

But the easy to connect hope in “Poverty Die” appears to have provided the saving grace of launch back that ill-advised social media stunts failed to achieve.
