Peter Obi is Igbo.

Aside from the presidential candidates, Isiguzoro asserted that “Igbo Governors and leaders from the seven Igbo-speaking states will be the special guests”
“Ndigbo in their numbers are expected to attend this very important event in their numbers,” Nkpa Kanu-Uduma, the head of Media in the Office of the Secretary-General, Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide stated on behalf of Isiguzoro.
“All Igbo clergymen will lead the prayer sessions” further revelation revealed.
There are talks that the Ohanaeze Ndigbo will unveil its preferred presidential candidates at the occasion.
These emerging talks are in the face of a strong push by the voracious “obidients” – supporters of Peter Obi – for Ohanaeze to name the Labour Party candidate as its preferred presidential candidate.
Abia state and other Igbo-speaking parts of Nigeria have been afflicted by insecurity with the mindless attacks of armed assailants dubbed unknown gunmen.
