It appears it is a case of “women supporting women” between Olufunke Daniel and Bamidele Abiodun.

Bamidele is the wife of Governor Dapo Abiodun while Olufunke is the better half of Senator Gbenga Daniel.
The Governor of Ogun State and Senator representing Ogun East carried on their quarrel at the Wake Keep for Subomi Balogun, the noble Nigerian famously known as the founder of the First City Monument Bank (FCMB).
The event which attracted persons of note from far and near was held on July 7, 2023 in Ijebu – Ode, Ogun State
SocietyNow.NG learned that although Senator Daniel took a picture with Bamidele Abiodun but he gave her husband a wide berth.
This development continues the supremacy tussle between Daniel and Abiodun.
The fight highlighted by accusations the Senator worked against the election of the Governor for a second term in office has shifted into who gets what in the about to be made federal appointments by President Bola Tinubu.
Like the president, the Senator and Governor are chieftains of the All Progressives Congress.
