The governorship candidate of Alliance for Democracy (AD), Chief Olusola Oke, yesterday, raised the alarm over plans by the All Progressive Congress (APC) to use the anti-graft agencies to stop him from contesting the November 26 governorship election.

Oke through the Director General of his Campaign Organization, Mr. Bola Ilori, consequently appealed to President Mu- hammadu Buhari to save him from a cabal within his government bent on stopping him at all cost.
Addressing journalists in Akure, Ilori specifically fingered the Governors Nasir El Rufai (Kaduna), Abubakar Badaru (Jigawa) and Ibikunle Amosun (Ogun); Minister of Works, Power and Housing, Babatunde Fasola and Minister of Solid Minerals, Dr Kayode Fayemi the arrowhead of the plot to stop him from contesting the election to clear the way for Chief Rotimi Akeredolu of the APC.
