Suspended SGF Babachir Lawal Rushes Into Closed Door Meeting With Head Of Panel Investigating Charges Against Him, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo

Babachir David Lawal, the suspended Secretary to the government of the Federation has rushed into a closed door meeting with Vice President Yemi Osinbajo.

The Vice President heads the three man committee investigation allegations that resulted in the suspension of the SGF.

Sources disclosed Babachir Lawal rushed into the meeting with the Vice President as his suspension was announced.

It is not clear what was discussed.

Lawal was suspended on the orders of the President over ‘’allegations of violations of law and due process in the award of contracts under the Presidential Initiative on the North East (PINE).’’

He shares same fate with Ayo Oke, the Director General of National Intelligence Agency who got suspended as investigation goes underway to determine how his agency came about the mystery N15billion discovered by Economic and Financial Crimes Commission it is laying claim to.
