Staff Of Suspended & Demoted Lagos Assembly Members Also Barred From Coming To Work

Emerging details have it that like their principals, workers in the offices of members of the Lagos State House of Assembly that were suspended indefinitely and those that were demoted have been barred from coming to work.

Insiders disclosed that the offices of the affected lawmakers remain sealed up, even as the leadership of the State House of Assembly announced the setting up a committee to resolve issues surrounding the development.

 The State House of Assembly with Mudashiru Obasa as Speaker on Monday, March 9, 2020, removed two Principal Officers: Hon Olumuyiwa Jimoh, Apapa 2, Deputy Majority Leader; and Hon Rotimi Abiru, Somolu 2, Chief Whip while two other members: Hon Moshood Olanrewaju Oshun, Lagos Mainland 2; and Hon Kazeem Adewale Raheem, Ibeju Lekki 2 were suspended Indefinitely.
