Sanwo-Olu Places Total Ban On Okada In 6 LGs
The ban comes into effect from June 1, 2022,
Governor of Lagos State, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu has announced a total on operations of commercial motorcycles better known as Okada in some Local Governments in Lagos State.
The ban comes into effect from June 1, 2022,
The local government areas are Ikeja, Surulere, Eti – Osa, Lagos Mailand, Lagos Island, and Apapa.
The governor made the pronouncement today, May 18, 2022, while speaking with all Divisional Police Officers and Area Commanders across the State at the Lagos House, Ikeja.
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu says other security agencies will join in the enforcement.
