Powerful Politician Declared Wanted By EFCC, Iyiola Omisore Freely Attends Social Engagement In Ondo

Economic and Financial Crimes Commission person of interest, Otunba Iyiola Omisore was the guest at a social engagement in Ondo on Saturday, May 28 2016.

This development comes barel 3days after anti corruption agency, EFCC declared him wanted over an alleged N700 security contract fraud.

The agency execute this move in a widely publicised report.

The EFCC via its statement had created impression the former Senator was evading arrest and would be arrested immediately he surfaced.

But Saturday May 28, the gubernatorial candidate of the People’s Democratic Party in the last gubernatorial election in Osun state was a guest at an event staged by social cultural group, Afenifere in Ondo.

Sources confirmed he was at the popular event centre, Dome site of the event for hours and there were security operatives on hand.

Rather than arrest him, he was reportedly shepherd in and out of the venue by security operatives on ground societynowng.com learnt.

” He was hailed and enjoyed usual respect and accolade accorded him before the EFCC claimed him a wanted man” a source stated.

An observer of happenings to at the event opined ”this questions the seriousness of EFCC’s allegations against Omisore and gives the former deputy governor’s claim declaring him a wanted man mere mischief to tarnish hiss image on the part of the anti corruption agency”
