Olusegun Adeniyi, Chief Digital Officer, Wema Bank, To Speak At ALAT’s Talk Series Today

Olusegun Adeniyi, Chief Digital Officer of Wema Bank, has been confirmed as a speaker at the virtual Talk Series hosted by ALAT by Wema, Nigeria’s leading digital bank.

This virtual session will give young Nigerians a platform to discuss key issues related to money and finance, business management, and entrepreneurship. The first session of the ALAT Talk Series themed “Wealth Creation and Wealth Management for Nigerians Under 30” will hold today, Thursday, July 15, 2021, at 4 pm on Clubhouse, a social networking application.

Olusegun Adeniyi has amassed over 20 years of professional experience as a software engineer, sales consultant, technical manager, and professional services consultant. His specialities include business strategy, business development, software management, and fintech.

Adeniyi graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering from Birmingham City University, England in 2001. In 2010, he obtained an MBA from the University of Warwick, England. He also holds certifications from the University of Oxford’s Said Business School (obtained in 2018) and the London Business School (obtained in 2019).

Before becoming Chief Digital Officer at Wema Bank, Adeniyi was the Head of Access Bank’s Africa Fintech Foundry between 2018 and 2020. He had previously also served as the Managing Principal at Castellum Consulting between 2016 – 2018.

This session, which will be moderated by Tosin Olaseinde, Founder of Money Africa, Yemisi Odunsanya (popularly known as Sisi Yemmie), a vlogger and content creator, will be speaking on how young entrepreneurs can leverage their realities to build ventures.

ALAT by Wema has continually shown support for young Nigerians across the country through various youth-friendly initiatives, including a partnership with SociaLiga and the ALAT Food Challenge campaign.
