Mr Jim Ovia, the wealthy Nigerian and banking wizard credited with the outstanding foundation of financial institution in a world of its own, Zenith has done away with the conventional looks.

He now favours the famous look of hooded money men.

A facade with hints of simmering physical strength.

The look, clean-shaven head with sprouting moustache and beards, was popularise by street figures.

It became famous when they attained wealth and became ”hooded” money men.

It is still a favoured look for upwardly mobile street figures as well as wannabes.

The ”posture” became toned down a bit when law enforcers started massive crack down on street figures – the look was an instant giveaway.

But it refused to go away.

And it’s adoption by the likes of Ovia, one of the nation’s wealthiest men is a testament to this.

However followers of trend explained, like most wannabes, the look gives Jim Ovia a boyish charm sort off rather than the alluring fierce appeal it gave to the original gangsters that came to town with it – and inheritors of their status.

This was the look Jim Ovia came to town with during the who is who burial ceremony of Madam Alice, the mother of Central Bank Governor Godwin Emefiele.

Emefiele is a former Zenith Bank boss with his current portfolio credited to the machinations of his mentor, Jim Ovia.
