Former Governor of Delta State Ifeanyi Okowa has shared a shocking news that he just received.
He shared the experience on in a narrative that reads “Today, I received the shocking news of the passing of our beloved former Deputy Governor of Delta State, Prof. Amos Agbe Utuama SAN.
Prof. Utuama touched numerous lives through his work as a law teacher, Chief Law Officer, and Deputy Governor, demonstrating his passion for serving the state and nation. Delta State will deeply miss his wisdom, leadership, and passion.”
Utuama served as the Deputy Governor of Delta state from May 2007 to May 2015 during the two-term tenures of ex-Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan.
He died on Saturday November 2, 2024 at the age of 77.
“On behalf of my family, I join the people of Delta State in praying that God Almighty comforts the Utuama family during this difficult time. May God grant his soul eternal rest, Amen!” Okowa concluded the social media narration.
