‘I Visited EFCC Voluntarily, Not Arrested’. -Oil Baron, Jide Omokore
Embattled Oil baron, Jide Omokore insists he was not arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.
The topshot at Atlantic Energy claims the visit to the anti-graft head office which sparked off talks of arrest was voluntary.
The associate of ex minister for petroleum resources disclosed to channels television that he visited EFCC office in Abuja on his own and was not picked up by agents as widely portrayed.

Omokore severally linked with the rot in the petroleum industry under ex minister Madueke and listed along with runaway partner Kola Aluko as beneficiaries recently had his home and office raided by EFCC agents.
The development came on the heels of arrest of Madueke in london, along with her mother, stepson and wife of another of her associate for money laundering and bribery charge.
The ex minister’s abuja home was raided same day Omokore’s lagos home and office were.
Documents investigators believe would aid on going investigations were reportedly carted off at the locations.
