“I Don’t Want Know Who The Candidate Is, I Just Want APC Gov In Osun” – Wole Oke Declares
message is seen as a call for party unity and focus on victory
Federal lawmaker Oluwole Oke has declared full support for the All Progressives Congress (APC) to win the 2026 governorship election in Osun State — regardless of who becomes the party’s candidate.
The multiple-term member of the House of Representatives, who recently dumped the PDP for the APC, made the statement in a social media post on July 7.
“May Allah give our party APC victory. I don’t want to know who the candidate is — all I want is an APC governor and government in Bola Ige’s House in Abere come November 2026,” Oke wrote.
His message is seen as a call for party unity and focus on victory rather than internal competition, as the race for the APC ticket heats up.
The Osun state Governorship election comes up next year with Governor Ademola Adeleke of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) keen to win a second term in office.
