Grave Yard Silence Envelops Sea Of Land Housing Shoprite In Ogun State!

There was an eerie silence at the sea of land housing Shoprite located in Ota, Ogun state yesterday.

Societynow.ng learned this development was a result of the fear of attack.

Businesses linked to South Africans were subjected to acts of vandalism on Tuesday and early hours of Wednesday (yesterday) in counter-reaction to xenophobic attacks against Nigerians in South Africa.

The citizens resorted to self-help approach when the government was seen as putting enough pressure to protect Nigerians in South Africa.

Known businesses linked to investors from South Africa such as MultiChoice, MTN, PEP, and Shoprite were targetted in different parts of the country, especially Lagos State.

Societynow.ng gathered that while MTN outlet in Sango ( Ogun state) was vandalized, Shoprite escaped attack as a result of quick intervention by law enforcers.

Sources disclosed the was place quickly shut down and a detachment of policemen put on guard.

‘’You know the land housing Shoprite in Ota is huge, with nobody around a spooky silence has since taken over the place’’ a source stated yesterday(September 4) night.
