Gov Adams Oshiomhole’s Driver In Police Net For Burglary

One of the drivers of Governor of Edo state, Adams Oshiomhole is currently with the police as part of ongoing investigation into a burglary case.

One of the drivers attached to Edo State Governor, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole is at the moment telling the Police what he knows about an attempted burglary at the Account Department of the Government House, GRA, Benin.

We gathered that security men were on patrol around the premises when they reportedly saw the suspect cutting off the iron burglary proof in the Accounts Office. On sighting the operatives, the suspected burglar took to his heels, he was however identified and later arrested. He was then handed over to police at the Aideyan Police Station in Benin.

Confirming the incident, Edo State Police Command spokesman, DSP Stephen Onwuchei, said “ Yes, we are aware of the incident but investigation is still ongoing. The Commissioner of Police has ordered the State Criminal Investigation Department(CID) to take over the investigation.

“As I speak with you, the DC State CID should be in Government House to visit the scene of crime,” Onwuchei stated
